LeTip Network Training Seminars provide new members with the skills and techniques necessary to become a successful LeTip networker. All new members are required to attend an NTS within their first 60 days of joining LeTip.

The feedback we receive about our NTS has been overwhelmingly positive. It is important to encourage all members to attend.

Attention Lake Oswego and Surrounding Communities Real Estate Agents
LeTip of Lake Oswego is a seeking highly qualified real estate agent
to join our networking team!

With the pending departure of our current real estate agent, Patrick Davis of John L. Scott Realty, LeTip of Lake Oswego has decided to launch a campaign to find the best agent to fill this integral position.  Here’s how …

1. Between now and September 16th start making connections with your contacts regarding the soon-to-be-available position.

2. Potential real estate agent members should attend our meetings on September 16th and 23rd.  Please contact President Aaron Yeagle at 971-207-4492 for more information.

3.  Between the 23rd and the 30th, Bruce Hildreth of Wealth Strategies Northwest will inspect the potential members.

4.  On September 30th ALL real estate agents who’ve gone through inspection will be asked to return for a “Real Estate Agent Speak-off” and will be given 2+ minutes to speak, a 5-minute group Q&A will then occur.

5.  On October 7th we will then VOTE on the applicants.

Something to remember: an applicant MUST attend AT LEAST 2 meetings, if not all three.  An applicant may attend only the 23rd and 30th meetings to meet the minimum.  Obviously, we will give greater weight to the applicant that attends every possbile meeting.  An applicant who attends on the 16th but NOT the 23rd will NOT be eligible for the speak-off on the 30th.

This is a VERY IMPORTANT position in our team and we want to find someone who has the enthusiasm, dedication, and joie d’vive that Patrick Davis has shown all of us these past 3 years! If you have ANY questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at 971-207-4492.

We are having our first business mixer for 2008 on Friday, July 25th, 2008 at 6:30am sharp at the Eastmoreland Grill. (map forthcoming)

This business mixer will be a structured networking event with FOUR of the best LeTip chapters in the Portland Metro area … Lake Oswego, River City, Portland, and West Linn (TBD). Continental breakfast will be served. A complete agenda for the meeting will be distributed digitally a week prior to the mixer.

As always, attendance is required.

We will need 2 volunteers as GREETERS (22.5 minutes each)

There will be a chapter showboat table to promote member signups. This table will be decorated in a Patriotic theme.

We need 3 SHOWBOATERS. Showboat tables are $10.00 each. I will have a sign up sheet at the 7/8 meeting. Showboats are selected by drawing as there will be more people wanting to showboat than space available.

We need 4 RAFFLE PRIZES valued at $10.00 or more. Think of something with reciprocal value for your company.

1 person is need for a LETIP TESTIMONIAL. You’ll stand up in front of everyone and give a testimonial about how LeTip has benefited your business.

Business mixers like this one are EXTREMELY important for membership building. I know many of us joined subsequent to attending a mixer.

Your Board has developed a postcard mailing to support a membership drive. You’ll have the opportunity to follow up and mentor guests to becoming members of our chapter … and change your badge color too!

Additionally, all four chapters are splitting the cost of a series of ads in the Portland Business Journal promoting the event.

Lake Oswego LeTip members now participate in scheduled visitations.  These means each month I create a randome schedule of visitations between members.  During the following month members will recite the commercial for their visitation partner rather than their own - a crossover commercial.
